Alice Siebecker holds a Plant and Soil Science Degree from University of Maine,has illustrated botanical pamphlets and designed a desert garden for the visitor center at Joshua Tree NP, completed a restoration project proposal for road cuts working with Forest Service botanist at Crater Lake NP, worked 30 years for the National Park Service in a different area than plants (now retired), completed Master Gardener Level I, II and III in Montana, owns a small business gardening for people and has been the Horticulture Superintendent for the Big Sky State Fair in Bozeman for past 3 years.
