Trish Wild, PhD is the Founder and Leader of Montana Horse Archers, which is an affiliate club to Horse Archery USA (HAUSA).  The club was started in August of 2018, and has rapidly grown to over 35 members and their Equine partners.  Dr. Wild has been a lifetime equestrian, and resides in Livingston, MT, where the club is headquartered.  She retired from a lifetime career as a Registered Nurse and Nurse educator, in order become a full time artist and leader of Montana Horse Archers.  Dr. Wild was recently appointed HAUSA Mountain Region Representative.
Over the past 2 years, Dr. Wild has invested in horse archery training with world class horse archers from Hungary, British Columbia, Oregon, Georgia and Washington.  She was recently accepted into Poland’s AMM 4 day Mounted Archery Horse Camp and will then compete in the International Mounted Archery Games (IMAG) in Grunwald Poland in April/May 2019.
Montana Horse Archers hosted 2 clinicians last year, and will bring 5 World class clinicians to the Livingston Practice Field to teach horse archery this year.  Our club welcomes new members and provides education, training, monthly group practices as well as access to practice venues, equipment resources, and horse archer community support.   Although horsemanship experience is helpful, NO experience is needed with either horses or archery, and all ages are welcome.
